The 2012 Automotive Internet Program is already the talk of the town in the automotive community. First Class Educators cannot wait to present this new course material to dealership employees everywhere.
During the third week of the Automotive Internet Program, students will learn how to create a WordPress blog. Learning how to set up and navigate a WordPress site is essential when aiming to attract potential customers as well as keeping current clients informed.
Andrew Schmitt and Nicole Chasan to Teach WordPress in AIP
Content Specialist Nicole Chasan and Web Developer Andrew Schmitt will instruct this course and will provide students with the necessary tools to build a WordPress site. Students will also learn how to maintain an already loyal fan base and keep them coming back for more.

Nicole is a digital media expert and updates her client’s WordPress sites daily. “WordPress is a vital tool that helps share what’s going on with a dealership so customers stay informed and build a relationship,” says Nicole.
Andrew is proficient in computer science and has been a web developer at PCG Digital Marketing for years. Andrew is no stranger to the WordPress platform; he has developed custom user submission and user voting platforms for Sam Swope’s Armed Forces Appreciation contest and the Morries Group’s billboard contest.
In “Creating and Setting Up Your WordPress Blog” students will learn:
- The overall importance of the platform
- How to navigate the site
- How it serves as a content management system
- Adding text (i.e. tagging)
- Applying different themes (no designing or developing necessary)
Andrew and Nicole are very excited to teach the course material for Week 3 of the AIP. WordPress is the perfect way to keep current costumers happy and welcome new ones.
