Las Vegas, Nevada: The turnout of the 2012 AutoConnections Conference and Exposition was phenomenal, exceeding the expectations of many. The first ever annual four-day event had a full agenda including a breakfast in the Aria Resort’s beautiful dining hall, general information sessions with featured speakers, educational workshops, five star lunches and more. Over 650 people attended, which is not only exceptional for a first-time conference but also record breaking for an automotive event. Each night closed with a cocktail reception held in the beautiful Exhibit Hall where dealers could network with the automotive industry’s top-notch dealers, vendors, exhibitors and workshop speakers. Some of the top event sponsors include TrueCar, VinSolutions, Dealer.com, Dealer eProcess, Car-Mercial, Cars.com and more.
AutoCon 2012 Recap
Many found the workshop speakers and topics so engaging and informative, that they would attend multiple sessions within each given time slot. These workshops included diverse topics to address the needs of every automotive employee such as the Top 10 Ways to Woo Your Online Buyers by CarWoo, the Evolution of Digital Marketing by Ralph Paglia, Paid Search Strategies by Brian Pasch and Google’s Anita Avram, and Mobile Technology: Coustomer Retention and Loyalty Stratagies by Glen Garvin.
With over 25 varied workshops, this gave each
individual the opportunity to foster their business and personal knowledge. Certificates will be awarded to those who attended selected workshop course tracks, which will serve as a token to represent the expertise gained in the session. The workshops that award these certificates include Brian Pasch and Anita Avram’s “Paid Search Strategies” and Elizabeth Archuletta and Jody DeVere’s “Diversity Marketing”. These will be given to those attendees who participated in all sessions of each workshop. The general sessions included speakers such as James Ziegler, Patrick Kelly, Lon Safko, Sean Stapleton and best-selling author Grant Cardone.
